Dear wildlanders,
On Saturday October 3, approximately 350 people gathered on the banks of the lower Snake River for a historic gathering of women, men, and children to advocate for the return of a free-flowing river. At 10:00am, approximately 200 canoes, kayaks, rafts, stand up paddle-boards, and motorboats took to the water to send a message: Free The Snake River
Watch the flotilla video. Read the blog.
Then make a quick phone call to President Obama, and ask him to use his authority to begin removal of the four lower Snake River dams (202)-456-1111. Ask the President to issue an executive order to breach these wasteful dams, and begin the largest wild salmon restoration project on the planet!
